Economics of Mental Health:
In November 2023, I gave a mini lecture at a workshop on the Economics of Mental Health. I explain why economists should care about mental health, discuss how we can contribute to the existing (clinical) research, and provide a broad and comprehensive—but not exhaustive—overview of the causal studies on mental health in economics.
The slides are meant to be a good starting resource for economists working in mental health and interested in getting into mental health research. It is also suitable lecture material for graduate students. I would love to get your feedback on the slides and if/how you are using it!
You can find the slides here.
